Dr Taffy Makaya is a highly experienced Consultant Paediatrician and a specialist in Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes with over two decades of medical experience. She is the Clinical Lead for Paediatric and Transition Endocrinology at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and holds specialist expertise in growth disorders, puberty concerns, thyroid and adrenal conditions, and Type 2 diabetes in children.

Trained at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Dr Taffy Makaya is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Oxford, a published researcher, and an expert witness. She is passionate about delivering personalised, evidence-based care and is recognised for her leadership in advancing paediatric services.
